HOW DATA IS COMPILED All data represents retail vehicle registrations in the twelve-county New York Metro Area and excludes fleet and wholesale transactions. April 2015 figures were estimated by Auto Outlook based on recent trends in the Metro Area market, seasonal factors, and results in the National market. Please keep in mind that monthly registration figures can occasionally be subject to fluctuations, resulting in over or under estimation of actual results. This usually occurs due to processing delays by governmental agencies. For this reason, the year-to-date figures will typically be more reflective of market results. For year-to-date figures, most recent month (April) is estimated and previous months are actual.
