PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • Constructed NESN’s new corporate headquarters and broadcast studios in Watertown, MA which totaled 35,000 SF.

• Completed all work on schedule, meeting multiple strict deadlines to ensure that NESN could transition smoothly from their former headquarters in Fenway Park.

• The new facility gives NESN in-house HD production capabilities as well as the ability to produce four programs simultaneously with 7 editing rooms, 4,500 SF of studio space, and a server-based master control center.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • Ground-up and renovation construction project consisting of a new 77,000 SF addition (with related sitework) to Schneider’s existing 800 Federal Street property in Andover, MA.

• Included is tenant improvement work for 236,000 SF to both the existing 159,000 SF building and the new 77,000 SF addition.

• Chilled beam mechanical system.

• Applying for LEED Certification.

The Mathworks - Natick, MA

Architect: Sasaki Associates and Spagnolo Gisness & Associates, Inc.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • Constructed over 597 hard wall offices with sidelights, doors, and frames - over 1,200 pieces of glass.

• Most projects completed on a fast-track job schedule. Some were completed in an 8-week timeframe.

• JC&A has developed a strong partnership with MathWorks and continues to provide CM services on their Natick campus. To date we have completed over 10 projects, all phased while occupied, totaling 200,000 SF.

Parexel International - Billerica & Waltham, MA

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • The Billerica Technology Center consisted of a 100,000 SF building on two floors with nearly 10,000 SF of UPS and data center areas to house networking systems.

• The Waltham Corporate Headquarters consisted of a completed renovation of a 63,000 SF space into offices, conference rooms, and a gourmet kitchen and cafeteria.

• Both projects required intricate coordination to accommodate a phased plan for move- in/occupancy along with electrical and mechanical equipment start-up.

• Both projects are LEED® CI Certified.

• JC&A has successfully completed 6 projects for Parexel.

children’s hospital - Weymouth, MA

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • A challenging 25,000 SF renovation and a 3,000 SF addition to a 105 year old building to create medical office space for Children’s Hospital and Atlantic Management.

• The addition included a new fluoroscopy room as well as CT scan/imaging and x-ray rooms.

• Construction took place within an occupied and full-functioning medical office building. Extensive construction signage and traffic coordination was required by JC&A.

Pegasystems relocation & restack - Cambridge, MA

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • New 162,000 SF Corporate Headquarters for Massachusetts-based software company.

• Re-Stack of approximately 100,000 SF of existing occupied space.

• Phased construction project spanning four floors, including 16 phases of occupied space re-stacking.

• Project included conference rooms, public open space, and customer area upgrades along with modular wall construction and extensive audio-visual enhancements.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • This project consisted of a 17,000 SF classroom addition to the existing main building as well as a 7,500 SF renovation of existing classroom spaces and the school library.

• Site improvements included revisions to the school’s roadway, expansion of parking, and utility upgrades.

• Project was constructed during the school year requiring lots of coordination to limit the impacts to the school’s daily routines.

Converse World-Headquarters Expansion - North Andover, MA

Project Type: Construction Management

Architect: Bargmann Hendrie + Archetype, Inc.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • Renovation of their current executive office, support staff, and boardrooms and the addition of mock retail display areas totaling 42,000 SF.

• JC&A installed a large 15’ x 22’ skylight that provides natural lighting to the main common area.

• Extensive interior glazing walls were installed in a grid pattern with a patchwork of different types of glass panels.

Philips Solid-State Lighting Solutions - Burlington, MA

Project Type: Construction Management

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • A unique fit-out project of the new world headquarters for Color Kinetics (recently purchased by Philips), the leader in design/manufacturing of LED fixtures. Project totaled 50,000 SF. • Project consisted of renovations to two floors. The fourth floor included primarily office space and testing/development areas. The first floor hosted a vibrant and flexible use showroom as well as a prototype manufacturing space. • Schedule was greatly accelerated with hi-level coordination between the architect, engineer, and lighting consultant to accommodate additions to the project scope towards the completion of the project.

• No incandescent bulbs were used in this project. Half of the $3 million dollar lighting package consisted of LED lights.

Parametric Technology Corporation - Needham, MA

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • Project scope included over 320,000 SF of renovations spanning multiple floors and buildings. Simultaneous construction zones required an incredibly detailed phased re- stacking program. • The overall project included new software labs, data center, and general office space renovations, resulting in large amounts of new usable space. The net reclaimed 15,000 SF of lab space was converted to general office use and programmed according to various department proximities. • During the process of reclaiming labs, sublets, and consolidation to accommodate the yield-up of C3, a unique opportunity was afforded to PTC allowing them to reposition work groups to better support the company’s long term business plan. • Various departments were reconfigured in an effort to maximize space efficiency and a projected campus headcount growth of approximately 15% was tested and incorporated into the program.

iRobot - Bedford, MA

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • The project included the new construction of 150,000 SF for the world headquarters for the manufacturers of Roomba and Scooba home vacuuming robots as well as unmanned military vehicles.

• The space includes a museum to highlight iRobot’s products and history.

• The space also includes research and development areas as well as executive offices and conference rooms.

Fresenius Medical - Multiple Locations

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • JC&A has completed several medical treatment centers for Fresenius, the world’s largest integrated provider of products and services for individuals undergoing dialysis.

• Nearly 2,000,000 SF and 26 beds in Massachusetts.

• All work was completed while the facilities were fully functional and treating patients.

• The projects required all new treatment piping throughout and the flooring in the patient areas required shot blasting, grinding, Ardex waterproofing, skim coating, and a lock together rubberized flooring system.

• The projects also included new nurse stations and patient centers as well as new millwork throughout.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: • Complete gut renovation of 85,000 SF of existing space attached to a 50,000 SF two story new addition for executive offices and glass walled conference rooms.

• Complex coordination to integrate existing foundation, structural steel, and mechanical/ HVAC components into new building.

• 50 new windows cut into existing masonry walls.

• 30’ tall exterior constructed from a metal panel rainscreen system alongside a vision and spandrel glass curtainwall system.

• Interior features include an 11,000 SF branding center, gym with locker rooms, high-end finishes of Italian porcelain tile, metallic scuffmaster paints, and intricate curved wall designs throughout lobby and common areas.
