1996 AT~T LONG DISTANCE AWARDS AT&.. T gives the best Long Distance players their True Rewards

T: he editors of Touchdown 1/ustrated are proud to announce the winners of the 1995 AT&T Long Distance Awards. Each week during the regular season , AT&..T honors Division I-A student-athletes in six cate– gories - longest run from scrim– mage, longest pass completion, longest punt return , longest kickoff return , longest punt average and longest field goal. To honor each winner, AT&.T makes a $400 dona– tion to the NCAA Degree Completion Scholarship program, which grants scholarships to deserving student-athletes helping them "go the distance" to obtain their college degrees. At the conclusion of the season, AT&..T presents Long Distance Awards to the six individual stu– dent-athletes who lead the nation in each of the categories listed on this page. AT&..T honors these play– ers with $6,CX>O of additional dona– tions to the Degree Completion Scholarship program. Now in its sixth year, the AT&..T Long Distance Award Program has contributed over $250,CX>O to the NCAA Degree Completion pro– gram.
