Lime Tree Journal - February 2017

From the Manager s Desk

Dear Residents,

What a wonderful trip we have had, although it was sooooo hot in Middlemount. 40° of a day and 38° at night. Poor air conditioners had a workout. The journey to and from Middlemount saw beautiful countryside, especially after the heavy rains they have had recently. It just makes you appreciate our beautiful Coffs Coast with the ideal weather conditions. We decided to travel home a different route and once again we were not disappointed……lovely green pastures where the rains had fallen and the loveliest little towns that were so friendly. You will not be disappointed if you make the effort to see some of this beautiful country, preferably in the cooler months.

Our reason for going to Middlemount during the heat was Our Beau’s First Birthday. He has the most placid nature and had a great day on his very First Birthday.

The other reason for our trip was Charlotte’s very first day at School. She looked really tiny in her School Uniform but absolutely loved Big School and was disappointed when she could not go to School on Australia Day!

We were saddened to hear the passing of Elizabeth Flood. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Please include in your prayers a thought for those in hospital, especially Merle Hopkinson, Arthur Edwards and John Fitzgerald, hoping for a quick recovery and back home.

John and Vicky
