Dear Friends:

Please make plans to join us for our 40th Annual Southwest Virginia BCIA Performance Tested Bull Sale to be held on Saturday, March 23 at 12:00 noon. Special thanks to Brian and Kayla Umberger at Mountain Spring Farm for the excellent job they have done developing the bulls. Our annual Open House at the test facility outside Wytheville will be held on Sunday March 17, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. This will be an excellent time to view the bulls and visit with the breeders and everyone involved, as well as enjoy a great lunch and some fine hospitality! Over the years, the Southwest BCIA Bull Sale has earned a strong reputation as one of the premier sources of multi-breed genetics in our region. This year’s sale offering upholds that strong tradition and history of quality. Please study closely the pedigrees, test data, EPDs, and other data assembled on this set of bulls. The BCIA consignors take very seriously their responsibility to put forth a product that will meet your needs as commercial cattlemen. As always, these BCIA bulls have met our numerous requirements to make the sale, and BCIA stands behind these bulls 100% with our guarantee providing assurance on their soundness and fertility. In addition to the bulls, we will offer a high quality set of females through the BCIA-Influenced Heifer Sale. Heifers are certified as Virginia Premium Assured Plus females, and each has met program standards for genetic merit, reproductive soundness, physical correctness, and health status. Many of the heifers are multiple-generation AI, and sell guaranteed bred to calving ease bulls. These females originate from excellent herds. The sale will be available online through CowBuyer.com. If you cannot join us in person, we hope this service provides you the convenience and ability to participate in the sale. See details contained in this catalog for more information. Complimenting this, video is available on all the bulls which can be accessed on the BCIA website. As always, we will have bidding available over the telo-auction or feel free to give one of us a call if you need assistance prior to or during the sale. We would be happy to assist you any way we can to secure a bull that meets your needs.

The bulls will be delivered to the sale facility in Wytheville the day prior to the sale. Call any of the consignors, Brian Umberger, or myself if we can be of assistance in any way. We hope to see you sale day.

Sincerely,

Scott P. Greiner BCIA Educational Advisor
