Who Is the Best Spy in Modern FilmHistory? One of my favorite personal past times is to view and follow secret agent movies. I have a goodly collection of them, and view them with great pleasure as often as I have time (which is never enough, for an avid spy fan like myself)! Perhaps the two most popular spy film series of modern times are James Bond and Mission Impossible . I have always enjoyed the Bond films (with Daniel Craig, in my humble opinion, being the most believable and best Bond of all the six actors who have depicted Bond in film.) James Bond in the 007 series films is the debonair (i.e., confident, stylish, charming, and yes, dangerous) British agent who is licensed to act in an extreme manner for her Majesty’s government. He is simultaneously graceful and the most brutally tough of all her Majesty’s agents, and is given the highest level of intractable and dangerous operations of any agent. His escapades sends him literally all over the globe, dealing with the ingeniously wicked foes, all determined to bring the world to its knees or to its destruction.
