revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages [26] but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations , according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith – [27] to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen. ~ Romans 16.25-27 Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace, which was given me by the working of his power. [8] To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ , [9] and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things, [10] so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. ~ Ephesians 3.7-10 . . . of which I became a minister according to the stewardship from God that was given to me for you, to make the word of God fully known, [26] the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. [27] To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery , which is Christ in you, the hope of glory [italics mine]. In each of these texts we see the wonder and disclosure of God’s inclusion of the peoples of the world in his sovereign purpose and plan for salvation (e.g., Gal. 3.7-9 – “Know then that it is those of faith who are the sons of Abraham. [8] And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, ‘In you shall all the nations be blessed.’ [9] So then, those who are of faith are ~ Colossians 1.25-27
