Light Pole Banner Signs

The banner shall be affixed to a metal support system manufactured for the specific type of light pole c. The banner shall include pole pockets. d. A banner can only be affixed to a functioning light pole. e. If the banner extends over the public street, it shall have at least 15 ft of clearance above the roadway. f. For nonresidential, mixed-use, and multifamily developments, light pole banner signs cannot be affixed to light poles adjacent to public rights-of-way. Banner Signs on Ground-Mounted Signs a. Special Standards for Temporary Directional Signs to Residential Developments Temporary residential directional signs are allowed on weekends only to direct the public to the following: a. Single-family and multifamily residential developments that are under construction; b. Multifamily residential development with units available for sale or lease by the property manager or builder; c. Residential dwelling units offered for sale by the owner or the owner’s agent; All temporary residential directional signs are subject to the following requirements: a. The color, location, or design or any sign shall not resemble or conflict with traffic control signs or signals. b. The property to which the public is being directed is located within the municipal limits or extra- territorial jurisdiction of the Town of Morrisville. c. Signs shall not interfere with visibility at intersections or railroad crossings. d. Signs shall not be placed on private property without the written permission of the property owner. e. Signs shall be permitted only between the hours of 3:00 p.m. local time on Friday and 5:00 a.m. local time on Monday. Max. Dimensions 3 ft wide and 8 ft tall
