2 credits day; 2 credits evening.

The course will provide an overview of intellectual property strategy in the representation of technology companies. We will discuss how companies create and maintain an innovation culture; and the ways in which intellectual property lawyers play a critical role in those processes. The course will address strategic considerations in all aspects of representing technology companies, including how to create an intellectual property strategy, ways to implement the strategy, and how strategy impacts the basic skills required to be an intellectual property lawyer.
