The EAA Aviation Museum—where your imagination takes flight! With a collection of more than 200 historic airplanes along with world-class galleries and exhibits, the EAA Aviation Museum is a year-round destination. Spend time in one of five movie theaters. Witness a piece of history in the Eagle Hangar, a tribute to World War II aviation. And get “hands-on” in KidVenture Gallery, an exciting interactive gallery for kids of all ages!

View an outstanding collection of German and American woodcarvings in an English Gothic setting. 19th century stained/painted glass windows, marble statuary, endolithic color-infused marble frontal, oil paintings, and frieze. Tours by arrangement. DOWNTOWN HISTORIC WALKING TOUR fdl.com This self-guided walking tour takes you through Fond du Lac’s Downtown and North Main Street Historic District. The sites have been selected as a sampling for their variety of architecture and historical significance. As you walk on the tour please take in the ornamentation and attention to detail on the listed sites and on the buildings along the way. The locally owned businesses hold a unique charm if you would like to shop or dine during your walk.

The centerpiece of the Historic Village District, the Galloway House and Village is a showpiece of the working farm that raised three generations. Thirty buildings each serve as mini museums celebrating Wisconsin commerce and lifestyle of the 1800s. The Blakely Museum houses one of the finest collections of native artifacts and distinctive pieces through hundreds of years of local history. Guests can peruse the gift shop for books, treats, and souvenirs. Open Memorial Day–Labor Day Wed–Sat 11am–4pm, Sun 1–4pm.
