For the second consecutive season all San Diego women's basketball games will be broad– cast live over the Internet at WWW.USDTOREROS.COM!

Jack Murray will begin his second year as the voice of Torero women 's basketball. Murray at– tended Syracuse University from 1971-1976, and worked in the promotion and marketing of the Syracuse University Basketball and Football teams from 1971 to 1978. Murray relocated to San Diego and became the Clippers' Head Stat– istician in 1980, and continued in that capacity until the team's move to Los Angeles in 1984. Murray served as the College Basketball editor of San Diego Sports Magazine in 1987 and 1988, and was hired as an Assistant Basketball Coach at Division I United States International Univer– sity (USIU) in 1988 and served in that capacity under Head Coach Gary Zarecky from 1988 to 1991. Murray resides in Rancho San Diego with his wife Maria and their three daughters Kirn 16, Jacqui 10 and Allyson 9.

The University of San Diego women's basketball team will be on TV twice during the regular season at home. WCC games against San Francisco on January 31st and a February 21st match-up against Pepperdine will both be braodcast live on San Diego 4. The first WCC Women's basketball TV telecast takes place February 2nd in Los Angeles as Pepperdine travels down the coast to Loyola Marymount. The 2001-02 WCC Tournament Champion– ship game is also scheduled to be broadcast live by three different television outlets. Fox Sports, KRON, and Action Sports are scheduled to cover the title game set for Saturday, March 3rd.
