Suggested choices ESB aims to encourage and realise the potential of all learners and we recognise the individuality of each learner. Students are free to choose any pieces of poetry, drama and prose that they will enjoy presenting. However, if you are looking for level-appropriate choices for them, we suggest the poets and authors listed below. Please also note that any text that is part of a GCSE English syllabus is also considered as an appropriate choice.
