These in-process lightweight take-up reels also access the inner end of the optic fibre for test purposes, as well as catering for extrusion process speeds of up to 1,000m per minute, and multi-trip transportation journeys between factories.

The barrels are manufactured from seam-welded aluminium alloy and painted to customers’ own specification.
