Fairy Stone State Park
GROUNDS FOR A GREAT HIKE After the sun’s up and the coffee’s brewed, we hit the trail. This 8 mile morning hike (to High Rocks and back) is all about good views, steady miles and better company—powered by caffeine and leftover golden light. Bring your favorite travel mug, your hiking shoes, water and snacks, along with your appreciation for mornings done right. We provide the coffee. You provide the camaraderie. THE “OOPS, I MEANT TO DO THAT” ROLL CLASS Ready to level up your kayaking game? Our Kayaking Roll Class is where confidence meets adrenaline! Whether you’re a total beginner or looking to sharpen your technique, this dynamic session will teach you the smooth, controlled roll every paddler dreams of. Expect laughter, splashes, encouragement and a supportive crew cheering you on with every attempt.
FLY FISHING 101 Curious about fly fishing but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly course covers the essentials of fly fishing in a relaxed, hands-on setting. Participants will learn basic casting techniques, knot tying, fly selection and more. We’ll also cover gear basics, stream etiquette and conservation practices. No experience needed—just grab your fly rod, bring your curiosity, and be ready to have fun. Participants will practice trail-specific skills such as navigating uneven terrain, maintaining balance and adjusting stride on climbs and descents – all in a supportive setting. SNORKELING 101 Ready to explore beneath the surface? Headed out on a cruise and thinking about booking that exciting snorkeling excursion? Snorkeling 101 is the perfect introduction to this fun and accessible aquatic adventure! In this beginner friendly class, you’ll learn how to properly fit and clear your mask, breathe comfortably through a snorkel, use fins efficiently and practice essential safety skills. Whether you're preparing for a beach vacation, cruise or just looking for a new outdoor skill, this class will have you floating, breathing and exploring like a pro in no time!
