ABILITYONE A PROGRAM THAT WORKS The AbilityOne® Program is a federal initiative and the largest source of employment for people who are blind or have severe disabilities. Through a national network of more than 550 nonprofit agencies, the program provides the federal government with products and services at fair market prices. The AbilityOne Program is committed to producing quality products while enhancing the personal independence and quality of life for employees. Employees learn job skills that allow them to grow within their communities and build successful careers. Through the AbilityOne Program, people who are blind or have significant disabilities enjoy full participation in their community and can market their AbilityOne-learned skills into other public and private sector jobs.
