Consumer perception? 2 Assess fitness‐for‐purpose of available methods Are they reference methods? Screening methods? 3 Assess the technological constraints for quality control in the labs Is flexibility needed for routine testing? Is there alignment for dispute resolution? 4 Define the need for guidelines  Do validation procedures need to be harmonized? Is definition of ‘ absence ’ aligned? 5 Define the opportunities for standardized methods What needs to be standardized? Screening? Quantification? Identification?  Which technology is suitable for standardization?
