GTVBT : macroscopic tumour extension at the time of BT as detected by clinical exam and MRI (high signal intensity) HRCTV : clinically palpable disease, residual disease as seen on MRI and grey zones plus circumference of entire vagina at level of residual tumour IRCTV : carries microscopic tumour load and includes region of initial tumour extension plus remaining vagina due to possible submuscoal multifocal tumour spread

GTVBT : high signal intensity HRCTV : GTVBT + grey zones in parametrial, vagina and para-vagina IRCTV : 10 mm margin to HRCTV, crop out OAR and applicator, add margin based on clinical exam and MRI at diagnosis to ensure full coverage to initial tumour volume
