The park is home to a walking trail, various picnic tables and pétanque areas, a giant checkerboard, a variety of boutiques, a coffee shop, and a restaurant. You can also admire the lighthouse of l'Anse-à- la-Cabane, which is located in front of the William- Cormier Heritage Park. Guided tours are available in July and August. La Grave, designated a heritage site in 1983, is the oldest commercial area of the archipelago, once visited by navigators in the 17 th and 18 th centuries. Today, it combines historical charm with a vibrant cultural scene, offering performances, free activities and an audio guide. Restaurants and shops feature authentic products, making La Grave a must-see destination in Îles de la Madeleine. The Dune-du-Nord Wind Farm is located a few kilometres East from Pointe aux Loups. With two 4 MW turbines, the facility generates 15% of Îles de la Madeleine electricity which in turn reduces 17,000 tons of CO2 from the Hydro-Québec thermal generating station.
