NEW RESEARCHER This induction seminar welcoming participants to the Saint-Gobain R&D community is the first stage of the training path in the R&D filiere.

OBJECTIVES

• To understand the R&D Organization, its strategic challenges within the Group, and its interactions with the other key functions (marketing, production, customer relations) • To be aware of common R&D methodology and tools and learn how to use them

• To grasp the general principles of industrial property and confidentiality • To understand the role and impact of R&D in EHS and eco-innovation

PARTICIPANTS

Researchers with 1 to 2 years of experience in R&D functions in Europe

PROGRAMME

• Group and R&D strategy • Bringing innovation to market; open innovation practices in Saint-Gobain • Introduction to creativity methods and evaluation of personal creativity • R&D project management in R&D: challenges, tools, portfolio management • R&D and digital technologies • Fundamentals of intellectual property • EHS policy and its implications in R&D; eco-innovation in Saint- Gobain • HR challenges in R&D Teaching techniques: external and internal speakers’ presentations, poster session, group workshops, case studies.

Prerequisites

• E-Learning modules: All about the EHS policy, • Non-Disclosure Agreement
