WCM AND RISK PREVENTION

RISK PREVENTION IN DISTRIBUTION Understand the main risks of property damage and subsequent business interruption (fire, explosion, natural disasters, etc.) Set up and implement appropriate prevention programmes and protection measures for your site conforming to the Group’s standards

OBJECTIVES

• To learn the theoretical and practical fundamentals • To deepen ones knowledge of the Group standards in relation to prevention/protection (as laid out in the Risk Prevention manual) • To design and implement appropriate prevention programmes, in compliance with Saint-Gobain Group expectations, requirements and standards. • To understand how these can be implemented within a Distribution context. PARTICIPANTS Corporate or regional managers in charge of property, new construction and EHS, as well as loss prevention managers of Saint-Gobain’s Building Distribution Sector.

• General principles related to the identification and management of property loss risks • Fire and explosion risks • Risks of intrusion and malice • Natural catastrophe • Introduction to Business Continuity Planning • Preparing and following up loss prevention audits Teaching techniques: presentations, discussions and practical exercises
