OBJECTIVES

• Foster a holistic view of the business, forces and levers that impact on performance • Anticipate business evolutions, identify challenges to draw up action plans • Sharpen strategic thinking, commercial and financial ‘reflexes’ - boost customer centricity • Build skills/confidence in ‘strategic discussions’ - enhance credibility and business leadership • Address priorities with critical thinking and decision-making skills • Support managers/contributors in aligning their roadmaps with SG’s strategies and priorities

PARTICIPANTS

Business Partners and contributors from HR, Finance, IT, Commercial and Operations. Recommended experience of at least 7 years, SG Class 6 and above or General Manager N-1. Suited to those who

a) influence strategy development and make strategic decisions, b) develop functional plans to execute the business strategy.

PROGRAMME

• Understanding customers, markets and competitors • Identify and evaluate business opportunities • Craft/align strategy and application plans - making key choices measure performance. • Develop value-creating solutions • Market-driven prioritization and strategies for allocating resources. • Group work focused on participants/SG business challenges • Entrepreneurship and leadership for performance Teaching techniques: Learning based on “LEARN-PRACTICE- APPLY” method; use of practical tools, frameworks and techniques; case studies; highly engaging business ‘game’; application to participants/SG business challenges.

• 3 months including 2 webinars & 3 days in residential • Blended (asynchronous, face-to-face, webinars) • From 25 to 30 participants • Satisfaction questionnaire
