OBJECTIVES

• To develop recruitment skills from identifying needs to applicant selection • To structure and target interviews (using the STAR methodology) and the selection process to maximise effective hiring decisions for the long term

• Clarifying the objectives of the recruitment process and its role in the general management of a company • Exploring the efficiency of various recruitment methods • Tips for main recruitment stages (preparation, initial selection, phone interviews, face-to-face interviews, taking data into account, final selection, on-boarding) • Conducting competency interviews using the STARmethodology • Incorporating digital methods into the recruitment process • Creating a recruiter’s code of best practice in line with the SG employer brand Teaching techniques: presentation of concepts and policy, discussions, games in groups
