Cross-company functions ensure the smooth operation of the Group

Management entities creating synergies

The operational units are grouped into management entities whose role is to put forward and implement a strategic plan and to adapt organisations and skills to their business challenges. The management entities ensure that the necessary synergies are achieved and that there is dialogue and sharing of good practices between units within the same scope or beyond. They ensure that objectives and strategies between the different entities are aligned and that these entities work cooperatively together.

Cross-company functions ensure the smooth operation of the Group. As part of their mission, they ensure: compliance with the principles of administration and – governance; that processes are managed and continuous improvement is – driven forward; that business lines are developed and upskilled. – They act as genuine partners to the management entities and operational units, develop on-field knowledge and are key players in creating value through their expertise. They have the resources and skills needed by the business lines for which they are responsible. They apply the subsidiarity principle. The Group can decide, for reasons of expertise or economies of scale, to pool resources.
