IMRT is about 15 years old. You can learn from other people successes and mistakes.

Specs, Acceptance, Commissioning and QA should be approached as elements of an unicum .

IMRT on a large scale implies effective and fast QA, which implies satisfactory TPS commissioning. Speeding up TPS commissioning “because there will be patient specific QA anyways” may be very costly in the long term.
