How toSetUpYour SpeedDial Buttons

If you use the Cisco CallManager ExtensionMobility service, changes that you make from theUserOptionswebpages aremaintained inyour device profile. For more information about ExtensionMobility, see the “Using the Extension Mobility Service” section on page 4-3 .

How toSetUpYourSpeedDialButtons

The buttons to the right of theLCD screen onyour Cisco IPPhone can be used as phone lines or as speed dial buttons, as determined by your system administrator. You can assign phone numbers and text labels to speed dial buttons using the CiscoCallManager User Options web pages.

If you are using one or more Cisco IP Phone 7914 ExpansionModules, you can access extra speeddial or line buttons. To configure speed dial buttons for your ExpansionModule, follow the steps in the procedure below.

Follow these instructions to set up your speed dial buttons.

Procedure

From theUserOptionsMenuwebpage, click Add/Update yourSpeedDials . (If you need help accessing theMenu page, see the “How to LogOn to theUser OptionsWeb Pages” section on page 4-7 .) TheAdd/UpdateYourSpeedDialspage appears.Youwill seea section for setting speeddials onyourBasePhone. If youhaveoneormoreExpansionModules, you will another section for setting speed dials for each of your ExpansionModules. In an available SpeedDial box, enter a phone number or extension that youwant to associate to one of your speed dial buttons.

Be sure to enter the number exactly as youwould if youwere to call that number. For example, include an access code such as 9or the area code, if necessary.
