Hope you have been doing well.

I was hoping you could point us in the right direction in our search for a builder for a home modification project that we will be doing for Tyler McGibbon in Toms River, NJ.

Tyler is a Corporal in the Army and was injured on December 21, 2014 on the last day of training before heading into Iraq to train Iraqi soldiers. Tyler was involved in a Humvee rollover on that day. His Humvee was the last in line and his team was not aware of the accident. Another patrol found the Humvee 30 minutes after the accident happened. Tyler was one of 3 soldiers injured in the accident. Tyler will be living with his Mom and Dad at their home in Toms River and will probably need to live with them forever once he returns home from Walter Reed. We will be remodeling a storage area of their home that used to be the garage into a separate living quarters for Tyler. By doing this we hope to give Tyler a living area that will remove all obstacles and help with his recovery at home. Does the NAHB know of any builders/contractors in the Toms River area or would you be able to connect us with a local HBA that could direct us in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any questions or need any more info from me.
