Dear Friends, In respectful commemoration of this evening’s 2015 Spring Gala Dinner Dance, the Town of Hempstead congratulates Founder & Executive Director Gil Bernardino, the Board of Directors and the entire Circulo de la Hispanidad organization. Tonight, friends and supporters join Circulo de la Hispanidad to celebrate 35 years of outstanding service to the Hispanic community. On this most auspicious occasion, a distinguished group of honorees will step forward to receive acclaim and adulation for their benevolent service on behalf of the many Circulo de la Hispanidad causes and concerns. The Town of Hempstead proudly joins a chorus of admirers to extend sincerest congratulations to honorees, Affinity Health Plan, Servando Cid, Yahira DeLeon, Luis F. Ras, Gladys G. Rodriguez and Miriam Lopez. In the midst of its fourth decade of operation, Circulo de la Hispanidad is respected as one of Long Island’s most dynamic and diversified community service organizations. Currently, the group provides service and care for over 20,000 families. By bringing community programs and comprehensive human resources to vulnerable families and residents, the group has successfully attained its goals of empowering the underserved while protecting human and civil rights for everyone. With an organizational theme of “Growing Stronger Together,” Circulo de la Hispanidad is realizing important milestones in the growth and development of the organization. As the group looks ahead to a bright and prosperous future, our township remains a loyal and enthusiastic supporter.
