THINK YOU CAN’T AFFORD TO STUDY ABROAD? Think again! Studying abroad is affordable for UC Merced students for a number of reasons.  100 percent of the total program cost — including airfare — is calculated in your financial aid package.  There are many semester- and yearlong programs that are less expensive than living in Merced.  Most UC Education Abroad Program (UCEAP) students see no difference in the total net cost of living in Merced compared with a semester abroad.

 100 percent of financial aid transfers for UCEAP students.  Students can apply for thousands of dollars in scholarships to replace loans.
