Aury Africa introduces mini vibrating screens
Aury Africa aims to fill a gap in the mar ket with its new range of mini vibrating screens. The company’s MD, Mark Houchin, explains that Aury is now able to meet cus tomers’ specific needs with the new range. “Our mini screens are between 1,2 m wide and 2,4 m wide, although smaller screens
conditions, and is achieved by, amongst other things, weight saving initiatives by reducing the polyurethane coating on the cross beams from 6 mm to 2 mm thick. A 6 mm polyurethane coating is applied to a 2,4 m to 4,9 m wide screen to accom modate considerably larger volumes. This is extra built-in capacity that is simply not required on smaller screens,” states Houchin. He adds that Aury Africa’s mini vibrat ing screens are made of thinner steel side plates and can be fitted with out of balance motors or exciters for efficient screening. Aury Africa stocks and supplies a com plete range of equipment such as vibrating feeders and screens, fine and coarse coal centrifuges, crushers, and conveyor sys tems. It also stocks a range of consumable products that include polyurethane and rubber panels, cyclones, woven wire screens, weld mesh, wedge wire products, belt scrapers and ceramics. this size do not require the same heavy-duty charac teristics as the larger ones. As a result, Aury Africa requested that its China- based factory manufacture a fit-for-purpose screen to accommodate the duty tolerances for the 1,2 m to 2,4 m wide range only.” The screens were intro duced in early 2015, and can reportedly deliver 30 to 40 per cent savings over the current screen prices. “This is a major advantage in challenging economic
