Physical Education

Overview The combination of physical performance and academic challenge provides an exciting opportunity for students. They also learn about physical education through a range of different contexts and the impact it has on everyday life. The syllabus encourages students to immerse themselves in the world of sports and PE with the chance to perform (through the non-exam assessment component) and delve into the how and why of physical activity and sport. Students have the opportunity to develop a practical set of key skills, including dealing with pressure, split second decision-making and interpreting and analysing data .
