New Gosford University of Newcastle Campus M ember for Gosford, Liesl Tesch MP is encouraging Coasties invites locals to explore options available at University of Newcastle’s new Mann Street, Gosford Campus. The brand-new facility opened its doors on 1 December. Discover the exciting study and career pathways available on the Central Coast,” Ms Tesch said. “People on the Central Coast should be able to live and study at university on the Central Coast. This new facility will help to make that a reality. “The ‘Gosford Central’ Campus is an amazing place that will offer increased access to higher education on the Central Coast while supporting local economic development, providing a modern, accessible learning environment in the Gosford CBD.”

Commencing 2026, the University’s Central Coast Campus will operate across three locations: Gosford Central, Gosford Hospital, and Ourimbah.

The Gosford Central Campus, which received an $18 million investment from the NSW Government, is a key part of the ongoing revitalisation of the Gosford CBD and located just moments away from Gosford Train Station. The Gosford Central location represents the University’s largest infrastructure investment in several years. “The Gosford Central location will strengthen the University’s presence in the Gosford CBD and reinforce the University’s long-term commitment to the region,” Ms Tesch said.
