Codex Committee on Methods of Analysis and Sampling (CCMAS)

 CCMAS does not develop methods, but endorses methods  developed by others  New methods are proposed by the Commodity or General  Subject Committee  CCMAS then  reviews method performance and determines if it  should be endorsed  At endorsement the method is Typed (I‐IV) by CCMAS  Once endorsed Method must be Adopted by CAC
