SAMMYATRI 6-4 Jr. - Mexico Cit , Mexico

USD: Enters his junior year with the Torero tennis program ... This past Fall season advanced to the quarterfinals of the "Flight B" singles at the Fresno State Bulldog Classic...Also competed at the ITAWest Regional Championships... Won two matches at the three-day Torero -------..1 Challenge ... In 2005 Fall season competed in the ITAWest Regional tournament in both the singles and doubles bracket.

High School: Attended the San Diego Jewish Academy where he participated in tennis, basketball, cross country and soccer... Selected the Most Valuable Player on the soccer team.

Personal: Chose USO for the tennis program, school being close to home, the great people, and the beautiful campus... Also recruited by Boston College and Emory University... At the ITA West Regional Cham– pionships, he picked up awin before falling to UC Riverside's Jordan

Personal: Chose USO for the tennis program and beautiful city of San Diego... Besides playing tennis, enjoys music and hanging out with friends ... Undeclared major.

LAWRENCE KOURIE 5-8 Fr. - San Die o, CA

USD: Enters his first season with the Toreros... This past Fall season he advanced to the finals of the "Flight C" consolation bracket where he dropped a hard-fought decision to Thomas McGee of UC Davis (4-6, 7-6, 10-3)... Competed in ITA West Regional Championships...

Personal: Chose USO because he loves the city of San Diego; it is agreat school, and has astrong tennis program... Also recruited by Peppedine and UC Santa Barbara... Undeclared major.
