Video PRODUCTION AND EDITING Have you heard your son or daughter say "I want to be a Youtuber"? Enroll them in this unique course designed to teach them the tools and skills used by their favorite Youtubers to shoot and edit their own videos while developing a basic understanding of the industry standards of video editing and resolution. This class will teach how to use professional video editing software, storyboard a video, and export a video to share on Youtube. The price includes instruction and a one-year subscription to a professional online video editing software. Registration deadline is one week prior to class. This fun, interactive class teaches babysitting basics and safety for infants, toddlers, preschool and school aged children. Participants practice hands-on child and infant CPR, relief of choking and basic first aid. Lessons include diapering, feeding, bedtime tips, selecting safe and suitable games/activities, and potential behavior issues. Price includes handouts detailing each lesson, and certificate of completion. This class is taught by an American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructor. Registration deadline is one week prior to the start date. Employers are finding that sourcing applicants with strong social skills is becoming a daunting task. Communication and enthusiasm are two highly sought-after skills that are trending in job markets and college admissions. Learn these and many more in this tween/ teen-oriented class! Get an edge not only in marketable skills for the workplace, but learning techniques to yield life-long success by developing and mastering soft-skills such as networking, time management, teamwork, problem solving, professionalism, and understanding credit scores. Mastering these skills could be the deciding factor in college admissions, landing a job, or getting a promotion later in life! HAND SEWING FOR KIDS Encourage your child to learn a handy life skill and fun new hobby! This hands-on class will be taught by an experienced seamstress who will teach your child the tips and tricks to successful hand sewing. Each student will learn two commonly used stitches to sew on buttons, stitch up seams, and fix common problems. By the end of the session each child will have sewn and stuffed their own plush toy to take home and keep. All materials will be supplied. The registration deadline is one week prior to class. HALLOWEEN PAINTING WITH PETITE PALETTE Join Petite Palette as they offer an artistic view on Halloween. Artists of all skill levels are welcome to join. Students will have the option of making a Felix Favorite Fence painting or a Jack Skellington Painting. The price includes all supplies and instruction from an experienced painter from Petite Palette of Sandwich. Be sure to bring your creative eye for this fun and completely hands-on experience.
