Drug Interactions This link provides a convenient way to look up interactions information for a single drug or interactions between two or more specified drugs. You can look up standard known interactions between drugs and also investigate interactions between drugs in specified contexts, such as patients with known drug allergies.

1. In the Drug: text box, enter a drug name and then click the "Add" button. The drug name appears in the Drugs window on the right. 2. Enter any additional drugs you might want to include in the search. If necessary, you can remove an erroneous entry from the Drugs window by clicking the red box in front of the drug name. To clear the entire screen and start over, click the "Reset" button. 3. For any drug allergies and/or diseases/symptoms you might want to include in the search, enter their names in their respective text boxes. 4. Enter any relevant patient information regarding gender, age, pregnancy, or smoking status. 5. Review the default Filter Settings and make any necessary changes to the settings. (To open the filter settings section, click the words Filter Settings at the bottom of the window.) Note: The "Potentially severe or life-threatening" Clinical Significance filter is always checked and cannot be de-selected.
