Individuals who enter into this game of the day on March 17th will be given a quota for a number of greens to hit in regulation . The highest number of greens hit beyond the quota will determine the winner ! All tee times are eligible to participate so if you are interested be sure to request your March 17th tee time between March 10th and 14th . The cost is $ 40 per person and includes cart fee , prizes , and beer . Our One Day Member Guest tournament will offer lunch , available from 11 : 30 - 12 : 45pm , a 1 : 00pm shotgun , prizes , and drinks after play in the Jockey Room . The cost for this event is $ 130 for one member and one guest . You may invite up to three guests to play in the event with each additional guest costing an additional $ 65 . RACE TO THE STEEPLECHASE MEN ' S OPENING DAY MARCH 9TH Join us as we kick off a new season - long points race with an Individual Net Stableford competition . This year our “ Race for the Steeplechase ” events will culminate in a season ending shootout consisting of the top ten in points from the season . One Thursday per month will count toward our points race for the year beginning in March and ending in November . The overall winner will be the proud owner of the coveted Horse Trophy and receive an invitation to the Champions Dinner . Each of these “ Race for the Steeplechase ” events will consist of a shotgun start , buffet lunch , scoring , and prizes . The first of the points race qualifiers will be Thursday , March 9th with a 9 : 00am shotgun start . The cost for each event is $ 50 and includes cart fee , prizes , and lunch . The North Atlanta Champions Cup invites the 2016 HBCC Club Champion , Senior Club Champion , and Ladies Club Champion to each build a team of four . These teams will take on The Golf Club of Georgia ’ s Champions and their teams in a head - to - head match spanning two days . Members are invited to cheer on the HBCC teams as they defend the title on Saturday at The Golf Club of Georgia and on Sunday at Horseshoe Bend CC ! The winning club will bring home the North Atlanta Champions Cup for 2017 . NORTH ATLANTA CHAMPIONS CUP MARCH 25TH & 26TH We will hold a Callaway Demo Day on March 18th from 10 : 00am - 2 : 00pm . Stop by and try out the 2017 line of golf equipment ! This year , the Epic Driver has taken over the industry . With the new Jailbreak technology , the face of the driver is hotter than ever . Ladies , come join us on Wednesday , March 29th for an hour of cocktails , putting fun , and socializing on the Parterre Garden and enjoy the Horseshoe Bend CC Signature Cupp putting course . This cocktail hour is a great opportunity to mingle and enjoy the evening sunset while getting a putting lesson from the Horseshoe Bend CC Golf Professional Staff . After the lesson , enjoy a friendly competition with other members and guests on the putting green . All ladies are welcome , and we encourage you to bring a guest !
