MammoSite Placed during surgery or US-guided through scar or small insertion Ct scan for planning Important: -balloon conformance to the lumpectomy cavity -distance from surface of balloon to skin surface, minimum 5 mm, optimal >7 mm -symmetry of the balloon in relation to the central catheter Treatment planning parameters are: -the diameter of the inflated balloon -PTV (adequate conformance of balloon to cavity is considered when less than 10% of PTV is composed of fluid or air) -dose distribution
