FISCHER OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Wheel removal and installation for wheels wi- thout a hub motor

Please also inform yourself using the information provided by your tyre manufacturer. This could pos- sibly be different from the tyre pressures lis- ted here. Not adhering to these guidelines can lead to damage to your tyres and inner tubes.

Only replace broken or worn key parts with original replacement parts from the manufacturer or parts appro- ved by your manufacturer. This is mandatory in the case of light systems, while the manufacturer‘s warranty is usually nullified if you install non-approved replacement parts. Contact us on our service hotline for advice on suitable components. If you install non-original or wrong replacement parts, this can lead to severe loss of function! Tyres with poor grip or safety, brake pads with a low friction coefficient and incorrectly installed or poorly made lightweight components can all lead to potentially serious accidents. The same applies for improper assembly! To repair a flat tyre, contact a pede- lec retailer, an authorised specialist workshop or our service hotline. You need expert knowledge and specialist tools, especially when removing the drive wheel and disconnecting the motor connec- tions. If you still want to perform the repair yourself, please obtain prior instruction (e.g. from an expert/Fisher customer service technician).

Always turn off the electrical system first and remove the battery before performing any kind of work! Failure to do so may result in electrical shock or se- rious injury. To repair a punctured bike tyre, you will need: • Tyre levers (plastic) • Patches • Rubber cement • Sandpaper • Spanner or wrench (for wheels without quick release levers) • Air pump • Spare tube 1. Opening brakes Please read the instructions in the chapter “Bra- kes” (page 31). 2. Removing the wheel • If your pedelec has quick release levers or ax- les, open them (see page 15) • If your pedelec has hex nuts, loosen these with a suitable spanner anti-clockwise.
