MCC Corporate College: 2018 Learn 2 Ride

Mandatory Online Course Prerequisite Required for both the Basic RiderCourse (Beginner) and Basic RiderCourse 2-LW (Experienced) The Motorcycle Safety Foundation requires taking an online course which you must complete prior to attending your in-person class at MCC. • Within a few days of registering for the BRC or BRC 2-LW, you will receive an e-mail fromMCC Corporate College with a PDF attachment containing instructions for accessing the required online course. If you do not see this e-mail in your inbox, check your junk or spam mail box. I f you don’t receive the e-mail, it is your responsibility to notify our office : call 585-685-6004 or e-mail corporatecollege@monroecc.edu. • Use a laptop or desktop to take the course. It may not work on phones and tablets. • The online course can be completed in approximately 3 hours and consists of 12 sections. • At the end of each section, there is a quiz. You can retake the quiz as often as needed and must score 80% before you can move on to the next section. You must pass all 12 sections to access your Certificate of Completion. • You do not need to complete the course all at once. If you save your work before you exit the course, you can pick up at the beginning of the section where you left off when you re-access it. • Make sure you have access to a printer; the course completion certificate needs to be printed immediately upon completion of the course. You must print and bring your Certificate of Completion to the first day of your class at MCC. • Motorcycle Safety Foundation requirement: Your online course completion date needs to fall within 30 days of your in-person class at MCC. Do not take the online course more than 30 days prior to your class at MCC. • If you have problems completing the online course or printing your certificate, you should still report to your class at MCC on time and prepared to ride.

When registering for your Learn2Ride BRC or BRC 2-LW course, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU ACCURATELY TYPE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS as this is where instructions will be sent for accessing your online course!

NOTE: Depending on what day or time of day you register, please be aware it could be a few days before you receive the e-mail regarding your online course, as MCC’s student registration system needs time to process your information and generate your MCC network account.
