Evenheat Ovens feature a swing-out door and cool-touch handle for comfortable use, full stainless jackets and corner mounted hardware for strength. The Ultimate Heat Treating Furnace for Knife Makers. Paragon has made kilns and furnaces since 1948, many of the originals are still in use today. The knifemaker series are developed especially for the custom knifemakers special needs. All are equipped with SENTRY 12 key electronic temperature controller, this simple to master controller displays messages to guide you through each step in entering correct, parameters for each job. A segment heats to a given temperature (max 2350˚F) at a given rate, holds for as long as you need. You can enter as many as 18 segments. Control both heating and cooling with accuracy and repeatability. Store up to 4 programs in memory, one for each type of steel you regularly treat. The large display shows temp throughout heating and cooling process. A delay feature turns the furnace on after a specified period. The alarm sounds when a programmed temperature is reached. Solidly constructed, insulated with refractory firebrick. The easy to replace elements are mounted in dropped, recessed grooves machined into the firebrick, protecting them for long life and low maintenance. The door is mounted with a heavy duty hinge, and opens downward with one-handed operation. A counterweight handle holds the door securely closed, a micro-switch shuts off power to the heating elements when the door is opened. A built in stand keeps the firing chamber safely off your work table, no extra stand is necessary. Each furnace comes with a One Year Factory Warranty, cord and plug is included for immediate installation, a wiring diagram, programming instructions and a heat treating manual written in plain English for the beginner includes instructions for D2, 440C, ATS34 and 154CM. Available in 3 sizes KF514 is 120 volt, 16 amp, 1920 watts and 14.5" deep, KF524 is 240 volt, 11 amp, 2600 watts and 24" deep, the KF536 is 240 volt, 15 amp, 3600 watts and 36" deep. A must to make sure the blade is treated evenly throughout. These have high temperature removable pins that fit into holes pressed into a ceramic base, the pins hold the foil wrapped blades on edge so heat can circulate freely around each blade. Evenheat Blade Fixtures are designed to hold your blades vertically and securely. They're well designed and provide ample space for foil inflation while being absolutely stable. The KF688-(5"x5"x2") is used in our KH Series (120vt) and the KF689-(7"x7"x2") is used in our KF Series (240vt).
