LEADERSHIP APB PODCAST SERIES

SCHOOL SHOOTING PREVENTION LEADERSHIP FORUMS

In 2020, the FBINAA introduce a new podcast series entitled Leadership APB. The monthly Leadership APB podcast series engages law enforcement and public safety executives in discus - sions on timely and current topics aȂecting ޔ rst responders around the world. These leaders share their leadership and managerial philosophies, successes, and obstacles they have encountered in their careers. The Podcast Series is a free audio program distributed to FBI National Academy Associates members, their staȂ, and other law enforcement executives that provide our communities, states, countries, and profession with the highest degree of law enforcement professionalism and expertise. The Leadership APB podcast series is broadcasted on the ޔ rst Wednesday of each month. In 2020, six episodes aired with a listenership of over 5,000 members and nonmembers.

In spite of the shutdown of communities around the country, we were still able to conduct six School Shooting Prevention Leadership Forums. The goal of these Forums is to provide school administrators and public safety leaders with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to improve the overall security of their community’s schools while developing a coordinated plan for a crisis response.
