The HBCC Tennis Club Championships will follow a slightly different format this year. The event will be played over a weekend, with first round matches Friday evening, if required. There will be flights of A, B and C levels. The junior events will consist of a 16/u, 14/u, 12/u and 10/u age groups. Entries fees are $25 for one event, $45 for two. An awards party will be held at the conclusion of play on Sunday. Entries close August 22nd and can be made at the Tennis & Swim Clubhouse Front Desk. This unique camp will focus on how to maximize your game and teach you how to beat your opponent’s different game styles. The 4-day boot camp includes eight hours of instruction from our qualified teaching professionals. Players can come daily or sign up for the week. The boot camp is designed for players of all levels who regularly play doubles and are looking to improve their technical, tactical, and strategic knowledge. We will focus on doubles specific drills to help improve your match play. Participants will work with all of our pros and will have the opportunity to hit with many different players. There will be events for everyone! Junior Singles events to be held: 8/u Red Ball; 10/u Orange Ball; 12/u Green Ball; as well as 14/u, and 16/u. Adult Singles Events to be held will be: Men’s Open, Men’s 3.0, Men’s 3.5, Men’s 4.0 and Men’s 4.5 Women’s Open, Women’s 3.0 and Women’s 4.0 Adult Doubles Events to be held will be: Men’s 3.5 and Men’s 4.5 Women’s 3.5 This Adult and Junior USTA Tournament is a great opportunity for all our members to experience tournament play on their home courts.
