2 ounces tincture of orange peel. 7 do. do. gentian.
I do. do. cardamoms. ^ do. do. lemon j)eel. Mix them together,and give the desked color ivith sol- n ferino and caramel,in equal proportions.
271. Bourbon Cocktailfor Bottling.
Take 6 gallons houi-hon. 2 do. water. 1 quai-t gum syiuj).
2 ounces tincture of orange jieel. 1 do. do. lemon peel. 1 do. do. gentian. ^ do. do. cardamoms. Mix these ingi-edients thorouglily, and color with solfer- ino and caramel, in equal proportions.

Take the juice of G lemons. The peel of2 do. 1 pound loaf sugaa-.
1 j)ineaj)i3le, peeled, sliced and jiounded. 6 cloves. 20 coiiander seeds. 1 smaU stick of cinnamon. 1 pint of brandy. 1 do. good rum.
