Lactation Outpatient Clinic Because breastfeeding challenges may continue after discharge, we have an outpatient clinic which serves the community. A nurse who is also a board certified lactation consultant will do a thorough assessment of how breastfeeding is going, including pre and post feeding weights of your infant to ensure adequate nutrition and work with you to resolve any difficulties you may be having.
