Conclusion This is the first modeling of the SPArc delivery sequence which gave particle therapy community value information regarding the performance of the prototype arc system. Additionally, the study found that SPArc can offer a superior delivery efficiency to improve daily patient treatment throughput, compared to IMPT. Most importantly, this first model of the arc system helps the community to further develop and investigate this merging technqieu especially incorporating the arc delivery speed and time into the SPArc optimization algorithm.
