The Time Is Now - Developing A Lifestyle Of Prayer

R. Expose your people to specially invited guests who can bring a new dimension to your prayer experience. These need not be experts-simply other learners who can shed fresh light on prayer. S. Develop an effective way to receive prayer requests from your people and to distribute them to specific intercessors within the family or ministry. I recommend that requests always be written, even in a family or small group. Written requests are harder to forget. When people know they are being prayed for, they are more likely to pray themselves. T. Where appropriate, focus your motivational efforts on men. For some reason unknown tome, the most fervent prayer warriors in most churches are women. By all means, do whatever you can to encourage them. At the same time, if the men in a family or minist1y become devoted to prayer, others are more likely to follow. U. Encourage faithful prayer for and with other families or ministries. By this means you can build the sense of unity and enthusiasm throughout the broader believ ing community, boosting each other's morale.
