CMAB just produced a Hispanic cheese educational video for use in training distributor sales teams.

We have also created a newsletter jointly with Sysco:

T HE P OWER OF D AIRY – CMAB/SYSCO N EWSLETTER

J ULY 5, 2018

E XECUTION P LAN

The following is a summary of the plan for the collaborative newsletter created by the California Milk Advisory Board for SYSCO. The Power of Dairy newsletter will be designed, written and produced by the CMAB and its team, with full review, edit and approval provided by SYSCO. SYSCO will digitally distribute the newsletter to its sales and kitchen/culinary networks and encourage readership – particularly in California and the Western OpCo’s. The newsletter is to be funded by the co-op funds created through the CMAB / SYSCO relationship. The four-page newsletter will be published four times a year – approximately quarterly, but timed to coincide more specifically to events, holidays or seasons. We plan to include a link to a 2-3 minute video for each issue. This video will be edited primarily from existing CMAB and SYSCO video footage with the likelihood for some limited original shooting. Over time, video content may become more prevalent and reduce the magnitude of the written newsletter. It may also serve as a starting place for a CMAB/SYSCO YouTube channel. This shift to more original shooting and expanded video presentations will likely have an impact on future budgets. The goal of the newsletter series is for SYSCO sales, chefs, buyers and OpCo’s to learn where dairy comes from on a more personal and qualitative basis – and particularly to appreciate California’s extensive and diverse dairy production capabilities. The content team will work to make dairy fun, engaging and familiar, creating a more intimate and emotional relationship between the people who make up the industry and its counterparts within SYSCO. The newsletter will initially focus on California and SYSCO’s Western OpCo geographies, however, tailored regional outreach is feasible in the future. Purpose/Content Format/Frequency

Each issue of the newsletter will consist of four sections, with a focus on:
