• The Food Taipei Int’l trade show on June 27-30 had been completed showcasing California dairy suppliers and importers’ CA dairy products, varieties from ice cream, cream cheese, daily cheese as well as specialty cheese were featured at the booths along with Real California ESL milk samples sponsored by the Standard Dairy and bought for Costco. Up to 7 potential trade leads had one-on-one meetings with CA supplier, JoeFroyo, who came to attend the show; afterwards IMR had also shipped JoeFroyo’s RTD functional drink samples to all 7 potential trade leads at the request of JoeFroyo. IMR will follow-up with them for possibilities of business development.

• CMAB will sponsor CA cheeses for the ATO-led United Taste of America Baking Seminars titled as “How to Manage Bakery + Café Successfully” to be lectured by a MIT-graduate Chef, Joanne Chang, from Sep 10-14 for local professional bakers. Some Sierra Nevada’s Crème Fraiche were provided specifically for this event through the assistance of CMAB headquarter. IMR-Taiwan is excited to see more RCM products being showcased via this activity. • The first two contestant recruiting orientations for Far Eastern Group’s “2018 Top Talent for New Life Chef Competition” were held on June 21st in Taichung and June 22 nd in Taipei with and attendance of up to 110 culinary related students/instructors. Far Eastern Group plans to hold two more orientations locating in eastern and southern Taiwan. The preliminary contest will be on Oct 27 th , while the finale will be Dec. 1 st . Rules and guidelines for entering the contest has been published on an activity webpage created at http://newlife.sogo.com.tw/2018_tt4newlife/ , and also reposted via RCM-Taiwan Facebook fan page for more exposure of recruiting purpose. • 300 bakery merchandising visits have been complete at the end of June to extend trade outreach towards those who were not able to attend the March Bakery Seminars, in the meantime, to survey bakeries’ purchasing attitude and behavior toward dairy products. • CMAB-Taiwan will sponsor California cheeses for an ATO’s social media project from June to October. California cheeses will be featured in short video clips produced by HowLiving Company, a company created by the internet sensation, Katie Hu, who has around fifty-five thousand followers on her Facebook fan-pages.
