A generous bequest from the estate of Carlton and Peggy Russell Saul ‘52 funded new bleachers for the Gillespie Family Gymnasium in May. A lifelong friend of Roanoke Catholic, Peggy Russell Saul witnessed its birth as a student when St. Andrew’s and Our Lady of Nazareth schools merged. Her senior year, she was part of the Celtics girls’ state championship basketball team.
