Since 1916, Babich has been producing esteemed wines and this Sauvignon Blanc is no exception. The grapes originate from the Marlborough region, located in the northeast of the South Island of New Zealand. The 2015 vintage is noted particularly for its herbal notes, which balance out nuances of well-inte- grated nectarine and passion fruit. This wine is medium-bodied, dry and crisp and will play well with summertime grilled seafood as well as vegetarian fare and goat cheese.

Nestled along the famed Naramata Bench in BC’s sunny Okanagan Valley, Quail’s Gate is known for producing three varietals with the Chardonnay being a fan favorite. This Chardonnay displays great concentration and will benefit from cellaring. Lively and bold, the notes of apple, pear and orchard fruit stand up nicely to acidity of the grape. This wine is perfect for a summer lobster boil or turkey burgers.

In 2010, Nova Scotia launched its own wine appellation - Tidal Bay. This is a refreshing white wine that showcases the flavours of the coastal terroir in which it is grown. Bright suggestions of citrus and melon mingle with undertones of sea minerals. Fresh and playful, Tidal Bay is the perfect date for its neighbor - bacon- wrapped Digby Scallops.
